Are you a forever home?
PICK ME! ABOUT SADIE...
Sadie was born August 7, 2013. Her first forever family had lifestyle changes, so Sadie came back to live with her pack. She has adjusted well, but with the changing dynamic of a pack, prefers the soft cuddles of a one on one best friend.
We want the best home for Sadie, which would include a semi retired active couple, with a quiet, active life. Sadie loves exercise, loves, loves to play fetch with her ball, raw or home made food, and kibble and fresh chicken feet for her bone nutrients.
Sadie is small - around 12 lbs. She loves to sleep with her humans, and is otherwise a quiet, uncomplicated puppy. She is still unspayed, which isn't a problem unless you have an intact male...
She has no health issues, and is potty trained.
A rescue needs great attention, and a smooth transition. If you are up for the challenge, I will work with you to make Sadie's homecoming a blessing...
Pick Me! ABOUT MIA ...
Mia was born Good Friday, 2015. She was also returned to us, very shy and quiet. Since then, she is now more confident and runs the 5 acres in complete abandon! She loves to cuddle and would also benefit from a one on one relationship with a best friend. She gets along with other pups and humans, but she asked to be spoiled by that one special person...
Mia also likes to play ball and exercise, but most of all to cuddle. She is 15 lbs, and her favourite food is raw or home made meals, and raw chicken feet or liver or heart treats.
We love her to bits, but also recognize she needs a lot of attention, more than that of her pack family...
Since 2004, we have been successful in our toy maltipoo breeding program. Our maltipoo bloodlines started with purebred toy poodle and toy maltese adults, under selective breeding and dna tested for health, physical, and cosmetic attributes, including specialized color resulting in intelligent, perfect tempered puppies.
WE ARE LICENCED TO BREED - we do not broker from livestock "puppy mill" breeders who raise pups like hamsters in cages with no guaranteed ancestry
Over the course of 8 years, we selected the best body type, temperment and color, and selectively bred our purebred poodle and maltese sires to our purebred toy and maltese dams. The result: perfect poodles, maltese and maltipoo puppies! We are most proud of our cafe au lait colored pups - as they have brown noses and hazel colored eyes. Truly rare in the maltipoo breed!
We have the longest tails ever! Chosen selectively for full, lush, beautiful tail length and fullness!
all about maltipoos...
Crossbreeds? Because the Maltipoo is a crossbreed, it starts life at a huge advantage in comparison to its purebred counterparts. In fact, a number of diseases that a first generation Maltipoo’s parents are susceptible to, perhaps even suffering from, will just pass your Maltipoo by.
The deliberate cross breeding of the Maltese and Poodle creates a wonderful new crossbreed known as the Maltipoo. This crossbreed produces puppies that naturally exhibit behavioral characteristics similar to the Maltese and Poodle. This generally results in a dog that is playful and very energetic. Maltipoos are gentle, extremely intelligent, eager to please, easily trainable, and very loyal to their human families. The Maltipoo is a natural family dog as they tend to love everyone they meet. Maltipoos are also great with kids, and are an excellent choice for a retired person.
Many names have been created by Maltepoo breeders to describe this wonderful dog including but not limited to Maltepoo, Maltapoo, Multapoo, Multipoo, Malte-Poo, Maltapoo, Multapoo, Multi-Poo, Maltese-Poodle, Moodles, Malt-oodles, MaltiPoodle.
Many Maltipoo breeders choose to breed Maltipoos because of their crossbred/hybrid vigor. Hybrid vigor is a term used to describe increased vigor or other superior qualities arising from the crossbreeding of genetically different dog breeds.
Maltipoos can be found in a variety of colors, though light colors are more common. The Maltipoos coat is soft and fluffy, with a slight wave to curl. Because the Maltipoo is a cross, the coat can have different textures according to which dominant gene the puppy draws. We have many Maltipoo pictures/Maltepoo pictures and Maltipoo video clips of our Maltepoo puppies that you can browse through in our photo gallery. Notice the uniqueness of each puppy! This is due to the percentage differential in the poodle and maltese gene mix. Although not predictible, you can rest assured that your puppy will not look like another maltipoo! The DNA is different and the coefficients are totally individual in and of themselves! You are guaranteed a gorgeous, one of a kind maltipoo!
The size of a Maltipoo will vary depending on it's pedigree. Maltipoos come in three sizes: Petite Toys (also known as tiny Maltipoos), tiny toy Maltipoos, and toy Maltipoos. Generally, Maltipoos weigh between 4 and 10 lbs as adults. When choosing a size; bone structure, build, and height are also important factors. It is important to note that there are no established weight standards for Petite and tiny toy Maltipoos. Therefore, the definition of these sizes will vary among Maltipoo breeders.
Petite Toy Maltipoos
Petite Toy Maltipoos weigh under 4 lbs full grown. Depending on the size of the pup, Maltipoos cannot go to their new home until they are 10-12 weeks old. We keep these little ones longer in order to ensure they are healthy and that they are truly tiny. Petites Maltipoos are particularly well suited as a traveling companion.
Tiny Toy Maltipoos:
Tiny Toy Maltipoos weigh between 4-6 lbs full grown. Tiny Toy Maltipoos can usually go to their new homes at 8-10 weeks of age. Tiny toys are also a good size for traveling and comdominium lifestyle.
Toy Maltipoos weigh between 6-10 lbs full grown. Toy Maltipoos can usually go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. The toy size is a much better choice for families with small children
Mini Maltipoos weigh between 8-12 lbs full grown. Minis are active, playful, can jump in the car, and are active physical companions for long walks, hikes, climbing and fetch! They also travel well under an airline seat!
Maltipoos/Maltepoos are considered non-shedding and tend to be good choices for individuals with allergies. However, this does not mean that the dog will not cause a person to have an allergic reaction. Each person is different in how much dog dander they can tolerate. I would recommend testing the allergic family member around a Poodle, Maltese, or Maltipoo before adopting. Keeping a clean pet area does help with dog dander, along with air purifiers and a good vacuum cleaner with an air filter. Purchasing a puppy is not a decision to be taken lightly; it is a lot of work but well worth it! Full of life and devotion, the Maltipoo stands out as one of the leading cross breeds to become a purebreed in years to follow.
Temperament and Coat Color Genetics

MALTIPOO PUPPY PARENT INFORMATION
Your JOB, as a puppy owner, is to provide for your puppy.
IF You are not providing adequate time that is failing the puppy and you.
If you absolutely must leave a puppy all day long, the crate should be open to a larger enclosed area and there
should be a specific place to eliminate (litterbox, pad, etc). Far less
than ideal, but much more sanitary and productive.
We do not encourage full work day neglected pups. Enrol your pup in doggie daycare or training classes, hire a
pup walker or home pet sitter to break up the time spent alone. Take your pup to a retired family member.
Puppies are excellent for the elderly. It is cruel to leave them unattended for more than 2-3 hours as a puppy.
IT IS BLATANT NEGLECT. YOU WOULDN"T LEAVE A TODDLER ALONE FOR THAT LONG!
